As a Quality Assurance Engineer (QA Engineer), you will work with delivery teams on one or multiple projects, to allow for smooth and rapid development of business applications. You will be responsible for creating and executing test cases/scenarios, acceptance criteria (with the client team), setting up various types of tests and executing them - both using automation and manually.

What is the QA Engineer role and responsibility?

As a QA Engineer you will be responsible for designing, creating and executing test automation of entrusted project. You are also expected to help with manual testing on request from QA team and/or pre-golive regression testing.

  • Writing, maintaining and execution of UI tests
  • Creating test cases and test checklists 
  • Reporting and maintenance of defects 
  • Deploying new versions to environments 
  • Designing of UI tests 
  • Maintenance of existing UI automation solutions 
  • Designing, writing, maintaining and execution of API and performance tests 
  • Follow to implement automation strategy

What to expect in the role

Expected experience

  • 2+ years in test automation
  • Extensive knowledge of HTML and CSS
  • Knowledge of Cypress automation
  • Experience with one or more languages: C#, JavaScript, Java
  • Experience using browser developer tools
  • Experience with Git
  • Experience with bug-tracking tools
  • Good spoken and written communication
  • Experience with SQL, MongoDB
  • Experience designing and building tests for APIs and/or experience designing and building performance tests
  • Experience with working independently on project

It is an advantage if you have:

  • Certified yourself in the field of QA (e.g. ISTQB)
  • Advanced skills in Azure DevOps (Test Plans)
  • Interest and/or background in Security testing
  • Background in development
